All items are plated either silver or brass and then oxidized to achieve an antique finish. Plating is nickel � free in most cases. All antique finished items are lacquered to protect the coating. Bright finishes are rhodium and gold and in most cases have silver base plating.
Those with sensitivity to heavy metals, nickel etc should not wear this product since there is always some metal content in the casting.
